The Bucs talented corner injured himself during a routine run play during the big win over the Saints on Sunday.
It looks like this Vernon Hargreaves injury is serious. Here he puts his hat on the ball and it results in a defensive TD for Justin Evans #Bucsfilm2018wk1 pic.twitter.com/bXbGVL0rUo

After the injury, he went right into the locker room and did not return. Yesterday Hargreaves met with Dr. James Andrews for a second opinion, but obviously, the news was not good for his shoulder.
To make matters worse, the Bucs are already dealing with another injury to one of their starting corners, Brent Grimes. The veteran corner is dealing with a groin injury that kept him out of last weeks game versus the Saints.
With the Bucs now missing Hargreaves and potentially Grimes for Sunday, they could look at rookie CB Carlton Davis and Ryan Smith to hold down the fort. The Bucs recently signed Marcus Williams off the street and that should tell you that the Bucs are already looking for a backup plan.
