WR Mack Hollins expected to play on Thursday

Eagles wideout Mack Hollins is expected to suit up for Thursday’s opener against the Falcons, although the second-year player missed practice on Monday.
Currently this year’s breakout candidate was listed with a groin injury on today’s injury report.
Hollins wouldn’t comment if his injury was linked to the sports hernia surgery.
There is still hope that he practices tomorrow, but if Hollins missed Tuesday’s practice that could have a slight cause for concern, as that would be one of the last real practices before the game.
Hollins has not played since the pre season opener and has missed his share of practices during training camp. It was recently reported by Adam Caplan that he had been recovering from sports hernia surgery, which explains why he hasn’t flash like expected to in training camp.
The Eagles will go into Thursday’s battle without Alshon Jeffery, who is expected back in week three versus the Colts. That will leave Mike Wallace, Nelson Agholor, Mack Hollins, Shelton Gibson, and training camp standout DeAndre Carter to hold down the fort in Alshon’s absence.
