It was just a day ago, that the eagles waived Adams after most thought he would be a lock to make the roster. He rebounded quite nicely after being injured for most of training camp, although the Eagles looked at Wendell Smallwood as more of a priority for the 53-man roster.
The Eagles were lucky they were able to bring him back to the team and keep him in the mix for the time being. Adam’s has had a tough time of staying healthy over the last year, but the Eagles hope that he continues to heal and get back to being the player they know he can be.
Moving forward, teams still have the opportunity to pluck him from the practice squad, but the team has a great opportunity to keep developing him for the roster.
