With the move to bring in Alexander, the Eagles decided to move on from fprmer 7th rounder, Joe Walker. During the offseason the Birds brought in tons of competition for Joe Walker and it looked like he was going to make the 53 until today.

Alexander, was a former 5th round selection by the Kansas City Chiefs back in 2015, even making the pro bowl as a special teamer in 2016. During last season, the Chiefs decided to trade him to the Seattle Seahawks.
The Eagles look to try to strengthen the backend of the LB depth, while adding more talent to their special teams unit.
