Pumprhey failed to impress during his short stay in Philadelphia and was never able to contribute in a real game for the Eagles. Last season, he was sent to the IR with a “hamstring issue”, however, we all know he was just stashed after underperforming in his first year.
The San Diego State standout is the first 4th-round selection not to appear in a regular season game since 2002. Scott Peters, a 4th round selection was an offensive lineman out of Arizona State.
With the Eagles loaded at the position, it leaves Jay Ajayi, Corey Clement, Darren Sproles as the only locks at the position. Wendell Smallwood is currently a question mark and Josh Adams has a shot to close out the backend of the running back depth chart.
