Eagles add former Philadelphia Soul WR Darius Prince

18 August 2018 Eagles News

The Eagles didn’t look to far outside the city to find a wide receiver, signing former Philadelphia Soul WR Darius Prince.

The Philadelphia Soul standout has no college football experience, however, he did play basketball for Penn State-Greater Allegheny and also played at Penn State-Beaver. After college, Prince played two years of semi-pro football in Pittsburgh, before landing with the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks in 2017.

Last season for the Philadelphia Soul, Prince hauled in 89 receptions for 1076 yards with 24 touchdowns on his 2018 Soul resume.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Prince will now get a chance to show what he has, as the Eagles are now down a without, as Bryce Treggs is dealing with a hamstring injury.

With the signing of Prince, the Eagles decided to part ways with defensive tackle Adam Reth.
