Carson Wentz showing off his mobility in training camp
28 July 2018 Eagles News
With everyone wondering what the status of Carson Wentz is for week one, it’s the Eagles beat writers who have taken notice of his mobility.
New development: Carson Wentz getting first team reps during 11-on-11. Showed mobility last series, sprinting out twice to avoid traffic.

Jimmy Kempski went out of his way saying that “barring a setback” Carson will start week one.
In 11-on-11 drills, in pads, Carson Wentz just spun out of the pocket, ran to his left away from Chris Long, and fired.
I’ll save everyone the angst. Barring a setback, there’s no way Carson Wentz isn’t starting Week 1.

While we are still early in camp, it’s quite encouraging to see Wentz’s progression moving right along. Carson took first team reps in 11 on 11s with the offense, but please note that no one will have the audacity to even go near him in contact drills.
Nick Foles also took reps with the first team early on in camp, with Wentz taking second team reps during 11 on 11s, but overall this is a great step in the right direction for Carson.
