Eagles plan to shut down Sidney Jones until training camp in late July
12 June 2018 Eagles News
According to Deleware News Journals’ Martin Frank, the Eagles plan to shut down Sidney Jones until training camp starts in July, due to “soreness” he has been dealing with.
Sidney Jones said he's not practicing this week because of soreness. Said it's precautionary and that he'll be ready for training camp. #Eagles.

Eagles fans have waited long enough to see their 2017 draft pick be fully healthy and having him held out of training camp is not the best news to hear today. Hearing the word “soreness” can make your mind go down the wrong path in terms of Sidney Jones and his old achilles injury, but thankfully to John Barchard you can put your thoughts at ease.
Sidney Jones mentions the #Eagles are just being cautious with a minor injury. Not achilles related.

Right now, the Eagles plan to hold him out for precautionary measures, so I’d rather have him ready to go than reaggravate a minor injury in minicamp. The Eagles held Sidney Jones out of practice all of last week as well. On a positive note, Sidney Jones did look very good throughout spring practices, so we’ll have to sit tight and wait until July.
