Eagles sign LB LaRoy Reynolds; waive S Dominick Sanders

15 May 2018 Eagles News

The Eagles announced on Tuesday that they waived UDFA S Dominick Sanders and added LB LaRoy Reynolds to the roster.

Reynolds spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2013, signing him as an undrafted free agent. As a Jaguar, Reynolds appeared in 30 games in three seasons, logging three starts, before being cut by the team in 2015. Reynolds spent the remaining part of 2015 season with the Chicago Bears and then went on to sign with the Atlanta Falcons, signing a one-year contract in 2017.

The 6-foot-1, 240-pound Reynolds provided great value as a special teams ace and was solid depth at the linebacker position for the Falcons. With 10 linebackers now in the nest,it looks as if the Eagles are looking for competition for the back end of the roster heading into camp.
