Eagles bring LB Paul Worrilow into the nest

3 April 2018 Eagles News

According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the Eagles have brought another linebacker into the nest.

Looks like the Eagles are adding more depth to the LB position, but this is solid move for depth and for the special teams unit as well. Recently, the Eagles brought in Corey Nelson from the Broncos who should have an opportunity to compete for playing time more than Worrilow.

The Birds probably see Worrilow as another veteran linebacker with experience to strengthen the back end of the linebacker position and a player who can contribute on special teams. With Jordan Hicks and Joe Walker dealing with injuries in 2017, it doesn’t hurt to bring in more quality depth to compete.

The Former Blue Hen has 5 years of experience under his belt with 42 starts, 72 career games, 262 tackles, 11 passes defended, and 2 interceptions on his career resume.
