26 January 2018 Eagles News
The Philadelphia Eagles are about to go on the biggest and most important trip of their existence, however, in wake of this important week, the Eagles received good news about next season.
Today, quarterback Carson Wentz spoke to the media for the first time about his injury sustained versus the Los Angeles Rams. Turns out, the injury was worse than we originally thought, but he’s sure he will be ready by week one of the NFL season next year.
Carson Wentz on if he tore more than the ACL: "So after we went in there and everything, it was actually the ACL and the LCL. I'm still feeling confident with it. The rehab — it's the same type of progression and everything. It's gone great so far." #Eagles

Like forth noted, Wentz believes he will be ready by week one.
Carson Wentz on the timetable for his return: "It's hard to talk timetables because these are always fluid injuries and timetables always adjust depending upon where you're at. But I feel very confident. I truly believe my goal is to be ready for Week 1." #Eagles

Wentz is a special player and one who was having an MVP caliber year and for all we know, he could still win that award. It is a shame he’s not the one leading this Eagles team in the playoffs and one their quest to dethrone the New England Patriots, however, he is one of the main reasons the Eagles were in the position they were.
