Brian Dawkins and Terrell Owens are one step closer to Canton

3 January 2018 Eagles News

Once again Eagles legendary safety Brian Dawkins and former Eagles wide receiver Terrell Owens are one step closer to the Hall of Fame.

Both players were robbed last season and deserve to be in the Hall of Fame. Dawkins embodies what a Philadelphia athlete should be, so for him to get into the Hall of Fame would be a big win for the city.

Up against these two this year, the class is stacked, consisting of Ray Lewis, Randy Moss, Brian Urlacher, Edgerrin James, Issac Bruce, John Lynch, Everson Walls, Ty Law, Joe Jacoby, Steve Hutchinson and Alan Faneca.

Being their second year on the ballot, this should be the year they get in. The committee is allowed to select four to eight players for the Hall of Fame, with the official announcement being made around the SuperBowl.

So, load up the van and get ready to take Canton by storm. This could be the year our hero Dawkins gets the recognition he deserves!
