30 December 2017 Eagles News
He’s backkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.
Eagles second-round pick Sidney Jones has not been able to take the field for the Eagles because of a torn Achilles injury he suffered before the NFL draft. Through all his hard work and rehab, Jones has been able to get to 100% and will be activated this Sunday.
The #Eagles will activate rookie CB Sidney Jones and he will play vs. the #Cowboys, sources say. A reward for the second-rounder's hard work returning from a torn Achilles in April.

Jones will work right into the Eagles starting secondary, immediately upgrading the unit. The Eagles already very good defense just got a lot better. With Jones coming back, expect the Eagles to take it a little slow at first, but a player with his skillset has the potential to be their best cornerback.
Going into the playoffs, this is a huge boost to the Eagles secondary, which has had its fair share of struggles as of late. Just the mere thought of seeing Jones in the Eagles midnight green is one that is going to excite Eagles fans. This is big news. The NFC’s one-seed just got a lot better.
