Roster Move: Eagles bring back special team ace Bryan Braman

12 December 2017 Eagles News

A  familiar face is back in Philadelphia.

After placing quarterback Carson Wentz on IR, the Eagles immediately filled their open roster spot with a former special teams star.

Braman had previously been one of the Eagles best special teams’ players the past couple of seasons. He was let go by the Eagles and since then, the Eagles special teams’ unit has dipped in performance. After giving up a blocked punt for a touchdown last week to the Los Angeles Rams, it looks like the Eagles had enough.

With Wentz out it appears to me that the Eagles are focusing on securing the special teams and defensive unit. By doing so, they will become a balanced team and all aspects of the game will outplay the opposition. A player like Braman does not get the respect he deserves, but he will do anything you ask him and he will make a big impact on the Eagles special teams.
