Well, the Philadelphia Eagles had a good run.
After sustaining a new injury during last night’s game versus the Los Angeles Rams, Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL.

The Eagles were optimistic heading into today’s testing, but the inevitable is now set in stone. Wentz was having an MVP caliber season and as a team, the Eagles were looking like legit Super Bowl contenders. Without Wentz at the quarterback position, the Eagles will have a hard time living up to their standard.
Backup quarterback Nick Foles was once a very good player in this league and you can argue the Eagles are one of the complete teams in the league. But, without your franchise quarterback, the life, and soul of your team, it is going to be tough in the playoffs.
