in the month of November the Eagles defense only gave up ONE touchdown

26 November 2017 Eagles News

Talk about dominating the competition. In the month of November, the Eagles’ defense only gave up one touchdown.

We knew the Eagles defense was good, but this statistic is not just good, it is lockdown good. In the month of November, the Eagles defense gave up a combined 35 points in three games, which consists of only one touchdown and seven field goals. (The Broncos scored one fumble return touchdown, but it was not against the Eagles defense). And, we are talking about the Denver Broncos, Dallas Cowboys, and the Chicago Bears, two of those teams are borderline playoff teams.

The Eagles defense has been able to not only be one of the best against the run but also against the pass. The Eagles secondary is making plays all over the field and the Eagles defensive line is constantly getting pressure on the quarterback.

Behind the brilliance of the Eagles’ defense, the Eagles are riding a nine-game winning streak and have the league-best record (10-1). If the Eagles’ defense continues to play at this rate, it is going to be hard to even imagine them losing a game. Letting up just one touchdown in one month is crazy.
