Bold Predictions: Eagles vs. Cowboys
19 November 2017 Eagles News
Tonight’s clash versus the Dallas Cowboys is set to have some crazy things happen. With the help from some of our viewers, we present, our bold predictions for tonight’s game.
First, Derek Barnett leads the Eagles in sacks with two.
Yes, the rookie Barnett will lead the Eagles tonight in the sack department. With starting left tackle Tyron Smith out, Barnett should be able to rotate in when the Cowboys are tired and beat down their fill in left tackle. Barnett has been doing very well the past few weeks, today, he will take a huge leap in his progress and lead this team to victory.
The second bold prediction comes from a member of Eagles Twitter, he says Alshon Jeffery will have a huge game.
Alshon has 120 receiving yards 2 TDs. We pick off Dak twice and we sack Dak 6 times. Eagles win 38-13

So, not only does he predict a big game from Jeffery, he also thinks Dalls quarterback Dak Prescott will struggle and get sacked a bunch of times. The Eagles defense could dominate the Cowboys offense and as for Jeffery, he has yet to eclipse 100 yards this season, but against leaky Cowboys secondary, that could finally happen today.
Our very own RulersPhilly sent in the next prediction saying newly acquisition Jay Ajayi will breakout.
#JayTrain runs for 110+ yards and 2 TDs, even with Blount/Clement getting touches.

Ajayi is known for having big games and without linebacker Sean Lee, the Cowboys defense is not nearly as good. With that being said, Ajayi is in for a bigger role for the Eagles. Ajayi having this big of a game would be huge for the Eagles.
My last bold prediction for this game is that the Eagles hold Dallas to under 75 yards of rushing.
Even wirhout Ezekiel Elliott, the Cowboys are still a run first team. Coming into this game, the Eagles have the league best rushing defense. Being fresh off the bye, the Eagles are all healed and ready to go. The Cowboys are going to struggle to run the ball on the Eagles like every team the Eagles have faced this season.
