TE Ertz dealing with hamstring tightness, should play

3 November 2017 Eagles News

Head Coach Doug Pederson noted that TE Zach Ertz was dealing with some tightness in his hamstring.

During practice on Thursday, Carson Wentz’s favorite target was shutdown in the middle of practice. As a precaution, Coach Pederson did not want to push Ertz and he expects his tight end to be ready for the incoming Broncos on Sunday.

With the Denver Broncos struggling with shutting down opposing tight ends, Ertz’ role in the offense is an important one. Tight Ends like Giants’ Evan Engram(5/82/1), Cowboys’ Jason Witten (10/97/1), Bills’ Charles Clay(6/39/1), and Chiefs’ Travis Kelce(7/133/1) have all scored on the Broncos.

If healthy, look for Ertz to be heavily involved in the Eagles game plans if he is good to go for Sunday.
