Breaking: Jason Peters and Jordan Hicks are OUT for the remainder of the season

24 October 2017 Eagles News

The red-hot Eagles just suffered a big blow.

What we feared to be true has just become a reality. After sustaining injuries last night versus the Washington Redskins left tackle Jason Peters and linebacker Jordan Hicks will miss the rest of the season.

Hicks suffered a torn Achilles tendon, while Peters tore both his ACL and MCL.

Peters and Hicks are two very important players for the Eagles. More so than Hicks, the Eagles offense is playing at a high level and they cannot afford to slow down because of poor left tackle play. Whether it is Big V or a free agent, the Eagles need an answer there.

At linebacker, the Eagles will use a couple of different backers, including Najee Goode and Joe Walker. Hicks is arguably one of the best linebackers in the league, however, the linebackers who have filled in for him thus far have done a nice job.

Regardless of this season, I wish these two players a speedy recovery, no one deserves to miss a whole year of football.
