Carson Wentz made Eagles franchise history in win vs. Cardinals

8 October 2017 Eagles News

Not only did the Eagles blow out the Cardinals, Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz also made a little bit of history while doing so.

Wentz finished the game completing 21 of 30 passes for 304 yards and four touchdowns, one interception. Three of those touchdowns came in the first quarter, which is historic. Wentz is the first Eagles quarterback to throw three first-quarter touchdowns in their franchise history.

Talk about icing on the cake for the Eagles and Wentz. Wentz is enjoying a great start to his sophomore campaign in the NFL. He now has 1,362 yards, 10 touchdowns and 3 interceptions on the year. He is doing very well and has progressed a lot since the beginning of last season.

Already another Eagles record is broken by Wentz. Here is to more records being broke and more wins…..definitely more wins! Fly Eagles Fly!
