4thandJawn staff predictions – Eagles vs. Redskins

9 September 2017 Eagles News

The Eagles travel to Washington to take on the Redskins in their season opener. These two teams have brought in a plethora new talent and hope to hit the ground running tomorrow with a win.

Historically, in the last few years, this rivalry has been heated and the games have been close. However, the Eagles have not beaten the Redskins since 2014 and look to end that losing streak tomorrow. As for the Redskins, this series has been in their favor, but times have changed, they have lost a few offensive stars and have questions with their quarterback going forward.

With all that being said, it is never easy traveling to an NFC East foe, however, I believe the Eagles get the job done in Washington. I am predicting an Eagles win in a close game, 20 – 14. As for the rest of the 4thandJawn squad, here are their picks for this NFC East clash.

Brett Pietrzak (@BPietrzak01) 24 – 14 Eagles

Lee Nelson (@Nelson81) 27 – 17 Eagles

ERock (@TheMightyEROCK ) 31 -17 Eagles

David Malandra (@David_Malandra) 31 -28 Eagles

Kelly Carpenter (@football_Kelly) 27 – 10 Eagles

Lijah Spencer (@tweaked74) 27 – 14 Eagles

Jacob Fulkerson (@theJFulkerson) 35 – 14 Eagles

Nick Holas (@Niick_Holas) 30 – 24 Eagles

Brendan Walker (@BWalkerNFL) 28 – 17 Eagles

Gayle Saunders (@EagleSessions) 24 – 21 Eagles

Ryan Neal (@Rwilliamneal) 20 – 17 Eagles

As you can see, the consensus is the Eagles win their opener in Washington. We all think it will be fairly close, but at the end of the day all that matters is the win. Hopefully, we are all right! Fly Eagles Fly!
