Eagles OG Brandon Brooks dealing with an ankle injury

8 August 2017 Eagles News

According to Philadelphia Inquirer’s Zach Berman, Philadelphia Eagles OG Brandon Brooks is dealing with an ankle injury.

The Eagles starting right guard left practice early with an undisclosed injury, but there was no news on what the injury was after Monday’s practice. Hopefully, Brooks can rebound in time to be healthy for the season, as ankle injuries do tend to last through out the year depending on the severity of the sprain. Back in 2015 and 2014 is when Brooks last suffered minor ankle injuries.

The Birds will look to OG Chance Warmack to continue to get first team reps with the offense with Brooks absence, with Warmack likely to get the start in the Eagles’ preseason opener versus the Green Bay Packers.
