Three Eagles veteran players are not in attendance as OTAs begin
23 May 2017 Eagles News
Today, the Eagles begin OTAs and three veteran leaders will not be in attendance.
Jason Peters, Fletcher Cox and Donnie Jones will not be in attendance when the Eagles hit the field for the first time this offseason.
Doug Pederson: Fletcher Cox, Jason Peters,Donnie Jones aren't here for #Eagles OTAs. Emphasizes voluntary workouts. Has spoken to all three.

Remember, the workouts are VOLUNTARY, but this does speak a lot. Ideally, you would want to have your whole team in attendance whenever you are practicing and working out.
But, these reports suggest these players let Doug Pederson know ahead of time and there is no real motives behind them missing.
He did say he expects a leader of Cox’s nature to be at these workouts, but he made sure everyone remebered these workouts are voluntary.
For now, this story is nothing big, but it is worth noting. If these sitouts were to continue, then the Eagles have something big on their hands.
