Bleacher Report predicts the Eagles go 8-8 this year

21 April 2017 Eagles News

Now that the schedule is out, it is time to start predicting the record….right?

Well, Bleacher Report broke down the Eagles schedule and predict the Eagles improve their record by one game and go 8-8 in 2017.

However, they did state the Eagles could be a sneaky team this season.

“On paper, the Eagles have the potential to surprise a lot of us, but a lot of it will fall on the shoulders of their North Dakota State product in this second season in the NFL.”

In the article, they mentioned that the Eagles toughest game will be against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13. It also said the Eagles have a couple of prove-it games versus the Denver Broncos, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants and Arizona Cardinals.

I am not one to predict records because I believe the NFL and any sport should be taken one game at a time. But, when you do look at the Eagles schedule it will be tough this year. Alone, the NFC East looks to be really competitive this year, all the teams can make their own case for the division.

Other than the NFC East, the Eagles have tough non-divisional games this year. They have to be up for it this season, it is not going to be easy.. but is it ever?

Honestly, a record of 8-8 seems realistic, but being optimistic, let’s go 16-0!
