Barnett was a monster at Tennessee, breaking Tennessee and Eagles great Reggie White’s sack record. Pass rush is a need for the Eagles, at pick 14, Barnett is a big impact player.
Check out this article on Barnett.
The Eagles are in a position to take the best player available on the draft board. If Barnett is that guy, it would be a great pick. Last season, the Eagles pass rush was non-existent at times. Brandon Graham, who seemed like the Eagles best defensive end had just 5.5 sacks.
The Eagles need to find a player to get double digit sacks and really pressure the quarterback. Barnett knows how to do it and possess all the skills to do it at the next level.
Barnett would bolster the defensive line and help out the rest of the defensive. If the Eagles go with the best player available, Barnett is definitely in play.
