Phase one of the Eagles offseason workout program starts today

Eagles football is back….. well, at least the beginning of the offseason workouts.
Today is the first day the team has all reported to the NovaCare complex since January 2nd aka Locker Room clean-out day. This means they can officially talk with the coaches.
Phase one is just a part of the nine-week offseason program. In these two weeks, players can only strength and condition train and receive physical rehabilitation.

What happens after Phase one? The Eagles told us exactly what will happen.
“After that, Phase Two consists of the next three weeks of the program. On-field workouts may include individual player instruction and drills as well as team practice conducted on a “separates” basis. No live contact or team offense vs. team defense drills are permitted.”
“When that first five-week period concludes, the Eagles can then hold Organized Team Activities (OTAs) during which they can practice team drills such as 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 without live contact.”
Phase one is just small step, but it is important. You best bet yourself, Carson Wentz is already talking to the coaches. The offseason is long, but finally, the team is back together.
