28 March 2017 Eagles News
The Philadelphia Eagles are reported to have agreed to a two year deal with former Patriots DE Chris Long.
According to a tip from Crossing Broad’s Kyle Scott below, it seems like Kyle was onto something.
I wonder if the Eagles will sign someone like Super Bowl champion Chris Long…

NFL Insider, Mike Garofolo jumped in the party, confirming the news on Twitter.
@Jefrancis1235 Means the Eagles are signing Chris Long. My understanding is Kyle is gonna be right.

It was first reported that the deal was a one-year deal, worth $2.4 million, however, the Eagles reported that it was a two-year deal. Last season Long recorded 4 sacks for the Patriots, and should give the Eagles a veteran presence along the defensive line. The 32-year old Long gives the Eagles another pass rusher to add into the mix as we head closer into the draft.
