On Sunday, EPSN’s Adam Caplan reported that Daniels had a visit with the New Orleans Saints. The journey man QB spent four years in the NFL backing up Drew Brees.
The Jets current offensive coordinator, John Morton, has had a history with Saint’s HC Sean Payton’s staff as an assistant, but Daniels and Morton have never had anytime together on a team.
With Bryce Petty and Christian Hackenberg the only quarterbacks on the Jets roster, perhaps Daniels can find a place to compete for a starting job.
