Schefter: Daniel to visit the New York Jets

20 March 2017 Eagles News

According to ESPN’s Adam Shefter, former Eagles back up quarterback, Chase Daniel, will visit with the New York Jets today.

On Sunday, EPSN’s Adam Caplan reported that Daniels had a visit with the New Orleans Saints. The journey man QB spent four years in the NFL backing up Drew Brees.

The Jets current offensive coordinator, John Morton, has had a history with Saint’s HC Sean Payton’s staff as an assistant, but Daniels and Morton have never had anytime together on a team.

With Bryce Petty and Christian Hackenberg the only quarterbacks on the Jets roster, perhaps Daniels can find a place to compete for a starting job.
