Eagles release Chase Daniel. Paid him $7M last year, $5M guaranteed this year (subject to offset). Highest paid QB coach in NFL history. 😏

The journey man quarterback and the Eagles mutually have parted ways, as Chase wants to compete to be a starter somewhere else. The signing from the very beginning has always been a head scratcher, as Daniel was paid quite nicely for just completing one pass for 16 yards during his stay in Philly. Daniel signed a three-year, $21 million dollar deal with 12 million guaranteed just last year.
