Report: Eagles expected to show interest in Kenny Britt

6 March 2017 Eagles News

According to Tim McManus of ESPN, the Eagles are expected to show interest in wide receiver Kenny Britt.

Britt had a career year for the Rams last season while working with Mike Groh, who is now the Eagles’ receivers coach. He caught 68 passes for 1,002 yards and five touchdowns.

His market value is at around $6-8 million, which is actually pretty good, considering Kenny Stills is valued at a $12 million price range.

The Eagles can get Britt for pretty cheap and get WR2 and borderline WR1 production.  It’s a no brainer for the Eagles here. Especially with the Groh connection, this move just makes too much sense.

However, this is not the end all be all move for the Eagles. They will still need to acquire another wide receiver or draft one with a higher pick. Britt is a great addition to this team, but not the savior.
