Eagles “likely” to trade LB Mychal Kendricks

3 March 2017 Eagles News

According to PhillyVoice’s Jimmy Kempski the Eagles are likely to trade LB Mychal Kendricks this off season.

Just a couple of years ago, the trade to get Sam Bradford to Philly went down in Indy, not to mention, last years trade to move to the No. 8 pick before the NFL draft.

While this particular move has been in the back of the fanbases’ mind for quite some time, it could be “go time” to move on from the former second-round selection out of the University of California. With Kendricks taking on a limited role (played 26 % of snaps) in the Eagles defense last season, a 6.6 million cap hit does not help his cause to stay in midnight green.

It’s possible with all the Brandin Cooks trade talk, that Kendricks could be an added piece to the puzzle. Perhaps a second round pick and Mychal Kendricks is on the table?

Just recently Kendricks posted  this pic on his Instagram account:

While we don’t actually see the Saints on his “future destination” cake, perhaps the Eagles have another team willing to trade a draft pick for his services.
