NFL trade rumors: Saints WR Brandin Cooks linked to the Eagles

The Eagles are in trade talks with the New Orleans Saints over the acquisition of New Orleans Saints wide receiver Brandin Cooks per an ESPN report.
Saints WR Brandin Cooks is the object of trade talks with the Titans and Eagles identified as two interested suitors, per league sources.

Cooks finished last season with 78 catches for 1,173 yards and eight touchdowns. He has that deep-threat ability the Eagles are looking for too, last season he averaged 15.0 yards per reception.
If I am the Eagles I go for this. Being on a rookie deal, the Saints know eventually they have to pay him. However, they have no room for him, especially with the emergence of wide receiver Michael Thomas. Right now, you would have to think Cooks’ price tag is its highest. It is the perfect time to trade him.
We do not know what they are asking for Cooks just yet. Stay tuned, more details to come.
