Eagles mock draft roundup: Charley Casserly has the Eagles taking Mike Williams
13 February 2017 DRAFT Eagles News
In his first mock draft of this glorious mock draft season, NFL.com’s Charley Casserly has the Eagles taking Mike Williams. His reasoning, ” The Eagles realize they need to get more help for Carson Wentz.”
There is no denying Williams would immediately improve the Eagles wide receiving corps. However, there are reports indicating the Eagles will be heavily invested in the wide receivers in free agency. So, knowing that, it makes you think, will they really draft a receiver in round one?
For now, in their current state, the Eagles would be dumb not to take Williams if he was on the board. Williams as great size and ball skill. Wentz just needs to throw the ball up because Williams will go up and get it. With the Eagles current receivers, going up and getting the football is a luxury.
This is just the latest mock draft, here are all the other mock drafts so far.
