If Eagles Twitter were GM: We strike a deal with Pierre Garcon
12 February 2017 Eagles News
Here is the latest question I asked.
Do #Eagles need a veteran WR to improve their WR corps, if Yes comment which one @4thandJawn

As you can see, the majority of you said yes. That means we are signing a veteran receiver to our roster. Also, I also wanted you to comment which one. The most commented veteran wide receiver was Pierre Garcon.
Garcon was asking for around $9 million a season, however, we were able to make a deal with him for around $8 million a season. Garcon received a 3-year deal for $24 million with $18 million of that guaranteed. His cap hit for this season will be around $8 million too.
Garcon brings a veteran presence into the locker room. The Eagles have a young group that was in need of a fiery vet. With a new receiver coach in town, the Eagles are hopefully Garcon and Mike Groh will be able to get the full potential out of this young group.
After signing Garcon, we now have around $10 million in cap space left.
Here is what the roster looks like with Garcon.
