Buying or Selling: The Eagles rush for more than 100 yards this Sunday

15 December 2016 Eagles News

The Eagles travel to Baltimore to face a very good defensive team in the Baltimore Ravens. Against the run, the Ravens are one of the league’s best. Knowing that, the Eagles are 0-7 when they do not rush for 100 yards. Will the Eagles rush for 100 yards versus the Ravens? Are you buying or selling this notion?

The Ravens run defense sits atop of the NFL as we speak. They only average 75.5 yards against a game and just 3.4 yards a carry. They have also given up just five touchdowns the whole year.

The Eagles running game has struggled really all season. They are ranked 15th in the NFL, racking up around 108 yards a game on average. However, when they do not rush for 100 yards as a team, they are 0-7. In fact, the Eagles have not rushed for over 100 yards, since the loss to the Seahawks four weeks ago.

During the last three games, the Eagles have rushed for just 229 as a team. That is just an average of 76 yards a game. Against the Ravens, they have to be committed to the run and up for the challenge. They cannot afford to abandon the run versus this Ravens team. They need to rush for more than 100 yards as a team.

Are you buying or selling?

Me personally, I do not think the Eagles can get it done. The Eagles will have a very beat up and depleted offensive line. I see them getting overpowered all game by the Ravens front seven.

Knowing all of that, are you buying or selling this? Can the Eagles go to Baltimore and rush for more than 100 yards versus the best run defense in the NFL? Let us know what you are thinking.
