Paul Turner can make an immediate impact versus the Packers

27 November 2016 Eagles News

The Packers come into the game versus the Eagles with a very depleted secondary. With that being said, the Eagles have a lot of matchups they can expose. Paul Turner has a big chance to contribute for the Eagles. If he does see the field, he will be playing in the slot. That is a matchup the Eagles need to expose. Turner can make an immediate impact for the Eagles as a slot receiver.

Firstly, the Packers have a depleted and struggling secondary. This secondary has been toasted the last two games they have played, giving up 670 yards and seven touchdowns. With Sam Shields on the IR, the Packers have been leaning on Damarious Randall, Quinten Rollins, LaDarius Gunter, and Demetri Goodson.

Goodson and Randall are out for the Packers. This forces the Packers to use backup safety Micah Hyde as their slot corner. Let it be known, last week Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins had a perfect QBR (158.3) when targeting Hyde, Gunter, and Rollins.

There could not have been a better game for Turner to debut in. If he plays, expect him to do very well versus the very shaky secondary. This matchup has everything you want if you are a wide receiver. It is up to Turner to go out and make the plays. Monday night, verse this defense, the stage is set for Paul Turner.
