Buying or Selling: Zach Ertz destroys the Green Bay Packers

24 November 2016 Eagles News

This Monday, the Eagles will hope to bounce back from a loss and beat the Green Bay Packers. Currently, the Eagles have one man who has been on fire lately. That man is Zach Ertz and he will destroy the Green Bay Packers.

Ertz is coming off of a game where he caught six passes for 35 yards and one touchdown. He also had a 57-yard touchdown called back for some odd reason.

Ertz has been on a nice streak lately. In the last three games, he has 20 receptions for 187 yards and one touchdown. That is an average of almost seven receptions a game for 62 yards. He has really become a focal point of the Eagles offense.

With that being said, the Packers come to town. This is a team that 22nd in passing defense. Recently, with a few key injuries in the secondary, this defense has really been struggling. In the last two weeks, not only have they given up a combined 89 points. They have also allowed a combined 670 yards and seven touchdowns.

The tight end position has a lot of success versus this leaky Packers secondary. In the last two weeks, the opposing team’s tight ends have a combined 14 receptions for 203 yards and one touchdown. That is an average of seven receptions for 102 yards. Tight ends have been carving up this Packers defense lately.

I fully expect Zach Ertz to continue the trend. Against a great Seahawks defense, he had a lot of success. Against the Packers, it will be not different. Ertz is going to have a field day. He is going for at least six receptions for 100+ yards and one touchdown.

I am buying.
