Newly acquired cornerback Dexter McDougle has impressed in his short time in Philadelphia.
Today, the Eagles announced that they have signed McDougle to a one-year extension.

McDougle, who was acquired in a trade from the New York Jets a few days ago has impressed enough to not only make the 53-man roster, but he has impressed enough to earn a contract extension.
Listen, the Eagles slot cornerback is still up in the air and McDougle has the ability to play at a high level there. It is possible we see McDougle in the slot this year for the Eagles.
