Eagles need to bounce back vs. Vikings and here’s what needs to happen to ensure that

The Eagles need to bounce back this weekend and for that to happen, here’s what needs to happen.
- Offensive line needs to play better
Through all the Eagles struggles, the secondary has been the one thrown to the wolves. But, the Eagles offensive line has been arguably their worse position group of all. During last season, this offensive line was considered one of the best. Expectations allow us to keep them on a higher pedestal and they’re letting the team down. For starters the Eagles will be making a change this week, putting in Issac Seumalo at left guard. That could possibly bring back the Eagles left side of the offensive line. Regardless though, this group has the talent and needs to protect the quarterback better and help quick start the run game.
- Limit chunk plays
The secondary hasn’t been as bad as it seems. But, what’s going on is they’re giving up a lot of big plays. Falling asleep for one second will get them torched against a team like the Vikings who have Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen outside. You can bet on it, the Eagles will be tested early and they need to shut those attempts down.
- No more penalties
Last week the Eagles got killed, but not by the Tennessee Titans, but by themselves. The Eagles committed eight penalties and gave up big plays and killed good offensive drives. That’s been a common theme for the Eagles this season. No team will have success when they’re shooting themselves in the foot constantly. It’s time for the Eagles to clean it up.
What a better game to bounce back in then against the Vikings. It’s time to start playing like the Super Bowl Champions.
