Halftime Report: A sloppy first half, but the games there for the taking

It wasn’t the prettiest of first halves for the Philadelphia Eagles. They trail the Atlanta Falcons at half, 6-3.
The best way to sum up the first half is sloppy. For both teams there was a bunch of penalties. Particularly for the Eagles not only did they suffer setbacks with penalties, but their offense struggled.
The Eagles have just a total of 68 yards on offense. They haven’t been able to stretch the field and get the run game going. However the one positive has been their defense.
Two is the number. That’s the amount of times the Eagles stopped to Falcons in the red zone. Although the Falcons have had early success in drives, they haven’t scored a touchdown.
The game is right there for the taking. The Eagles need to wake up offensively and use their weapons to their advantage. We’ve seen the Eagles rebound at half multiple times last season, let’s hope we see it again.
