Eagles Twitter and my final thoughts heading into the NFC Championship
21 January 2018 Eagles News
The big game is just hours away and the anticipation could not be any higher. The Philadelphia Eagles are one win away from getting the chance to play in Minnesota at the Superbowl.
The Eagles have a tough opponent in the Minnesota Vikings, defensively, they are very good. Like the Eagles, the Vikings’ defense has the ability to carry their team if needed. The Vikings’ offense has a few solid weapons in Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs, but as for the rest of their offense, they should not offer the Eagles too much of a threat. For the Eagles have a successful day, the Eagles pass rush needs to make things uncomfortable for Vikings quarterback Case Keenum. We know Keenum does not pressure and the Eagles are the league’s best at applying it.
The Eagles offense is going to rely on the offensive line’s ability to deal with the Vikings’ defensive line. If the Eagles are able to have their way, they should be able to run the ball which would help out Nick Foles a bunch. Foles has been building confidence and looked sharp last week, especially in the second half. I think at home, the Eagles are going to have the edge and win the line of scrimmage battle. However, whatever team wins that battle will win the game regardless. My prediction is a close game, but Eagles win 24 – 14 and there will be one defensive touchdown for the Eagles.
Here is what some of Eagles twitter thinks heading into the big game.
Incredible defenses on both sides. Case Keenum has had a great season, but he is prone to making mistakes. I think the Eagles win 24-21.

Jake Elliot sinks a late FG to give the eagles a comfortable lead inside 1:00. Doug calls an other wonderful game.
