18 October 2017 Eagles News

Chris Long is a very cool dude!

Long, who signed with the Eagles this offseason is not only making an impact on the field, but also he’s making a massive impact off the field.

When the Charlottesville tragedy occurred, Long a native of Charlottesville was outspoken the whole time. Long wanted to make a change and help, and to do so, he dontated his first six game checks to fund scholarships in the local schools.

Since then, Long has now announced he will donate his final ten game checks to educational equity cause.

Long is launching the Pledge 10 for tomorrow campaign, where he will partner with four educational based youth support organizations in his three NFL communities to create equal education opportunities.

Long is a great dude and one that you love having on your team. It takes a special person to donate his whole salary for the year. Long is a special person and one who will change the world.
