RB Donnel Pumphrey dealing with a hamstring injury
1 August 2017 Eagles News
According to EaglesWire’s Turron Davenport, Eagles rookie RB Donnel Pumphrey injured his hamstring.
Donnel Pumphrey told me he feels he can go tomorrow but said it's up to the trainers. Sat out today with a tweaked hamstring.

Other Eagles beat reporters noted that Pumphrey should be out of practice for a couple of days with a tweaked hamstring. However, Davenport noted that Pumphrey feels like he can go tomorrow and at the moment it’s up to his trainers. Glad to hear it’s not a serious hamstring injury, as they can tend to linger through the season.
The rookie 4th round selection has had a solid camp so far and has been everything the Eagles expected. Pumphrey has had plenty of reps with the first team this off season and has looked sharp out of the backfield in the passing game.
