During last Friday’s practice, the Eagles top wideout was injured, after taking a low hit to his knee by rookie DB Jalen Mills. While the Birds will be without Matthews for the time being, they’re fortunate that the injury was not more serious. The team is hoping to get Matthews back by the third preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts on August 27th.
